If you’re the owner of any of these videos send me an email for deletion or removal nekdo.nihceF1🤍gmail.com Today 1 year ago we lost a very talented driver, son, friend etc. In a F2 Crash in Spa Franchoshamps On Top of Raidillon and before the entrance to the Kemmell straight Gulliano Alesi lost his car on the entrance to Raidillon due to the puncture he had earlier and hit the barrier. Ralph Boschung Tried to take avoiding action. Doing so, Hubert hit his right rear tyre which broke Anthoine’s front wing. Hubert Tried to steer but with lower downforce and high speed he ended in the tyre barrier which bounced him back on the side of the circuit when Correa came up the hill. Juan Manuel caught a rear right puncture from Alesi’s debris which caused him to go off the track and directly into Hubert, breaking through his cockpit and causing internal injuries. Hubert Later died in hospital, while Correa survived in a critical contition and was needed to be put to coma. Since then, Correa is again in form to go racing. R.I.P. Anthoine, we miss you! #AH19 ❤️💪 It has been three years since we lost the talented driver! Anthoine will be remembered every year on this day or race weekends in Spa Franchorchamps, where many people and his friends leave him roses at the top of Raidillon R.I.P.

E tivemos nesta quarta-feira, o início dos testes da Formula 2 no circuito de Barcelona e tivemos o Enzo Fittipaldi ficando entre os mais rápidos. Bom, de hoje, quarta feira até sexta-feira, dia 12 de maio, a Formula 2 estará realizando os testes coletivos da categoria, é como se fosse testes de pré temporada, mas a temporada já começou, e as equipes e os pilotos poderão se preparar para as corridas da Europa, que começará junto com o da Formula 1, no dia 19 de maio em Imola. E nesse primeiro dia, o piloto Jack Doohan foi o mais rápido, com Oliver Bearman em segundo e Frederik Vesti em terceiro e o nosso piloto brasileiro, o Enzo Fittipaldi terminou com o quarto melhor tempo, a seis décimos do Jack Doohan.

Henry Surtees was the 18-year-old son of John Surtees, a legend from the Formula 1 days, the only person to have won World titles on both two and four wheels. In June of 2009, Henry Surtees drove his father’s 37-year-old light blue and yellow Surtees TS10 – Ford Formula 2 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. At the end of the test, he said: "This experience had given me new respect for what drivers of previous generations had achieved”. The FIA Formula 2 Championship, headed up by Jonathan Palmer’s MSV (MotorSport Vision), was introduced in 2009. All the cars of the new category had standard components and identical weight; the Formula 2 chassis, produced by Williams Grand Prix Engineering to an identical specification, was fitted with a 1.8-litre Audi turbo engine with almost 450bhp; the engines on all cars had identical power. All the racers competed in identical conditions, using the same tyres. The cars conformed to the 2005 FIA Formula 1 safety regulations. On Sunday, 19 July 2009, the 24 Formula 2 racers formed the grid for race two. Henry Surtees who qualified eighth for the race was running line astern with other cars following Jolyon Palmer #3 on the Derek Minter Straight when Jack Clarke’s #11 spun off ahead of them exiting the Westfield Bend. Clarke’s relatively innocuous accident was transformed into a dangerous one when his car crashed backwards into a tyre wall. The barrier was positioned curving towards the track, around a tree at the end of a 15-meter run-off area. The car was sent back towards the circuit and its rear wing and one front wheel broke free, tumbling back onto the racing line. Sadly, Henry Surtees was coming at an estimated 100 mi/h up to the tyre right at the moment it bounced into the air, while slowly crossing the track. Henry Surtees was hit on the head and knocked unconscious before his car smashed into the trackside barriers at the next corner at a high rate of speed. No movement was seen inside the cockpit when the car went on without a drive and parked itself gently on the outside of the Sheene Corner. Marshals arrived at the scene immediately, they found the visor of Surtees’ helmet opened, possibly it happened due to the tyre’s impact. The race was red-flagged while Surtees was removed from the scene. He was airlifted by the South East Coast Ambulance Service to the Royal London hospital after medics at the circuit worked to stabilise him. He died from his injuries in the evening of that same day. A very similar accident that also involved Henry Surtees and Jack Clarke occurred in the second round of the championship, held one month before at Brno, when the start of the first race was disrupted by a flying wheel after cars collided. The crash was reminiscent of another freak accident that occurred on 13 April 1980, when Markus Höttinger was struck and killed by an errant wheel from a competitor's crashed car during the “Jim Clark Gedächtnisrennen” Formula 2 race at Hockenheim. Before the start of the following round of the championship at Donington Park, on 15 August 2009, Henry Surtees’ #7 car was placed on pole position with all 24 Formula 2 drivers stood behind, together with MSV's Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer, engineers, mechanics and the entire Formula Two team, and a minute's silence was held in his memory. Henry Surtees was a fine young man on the verge of his career in the sport. One of Britain's most promising racing drivers started racing karts at the age of eight, driving a 60 cm3 Comer Zip Kart at Blackbushe in Hampshire on 25 September 1999. The following year he won the Club Winter Championship at Rye House, aged nine. He was a member of the British Inter-Nations team in 2003 and in 2005 he won the Junior Gearbox championship. In that season he was crowned “Stars of Tomorrow” at Buckmore Park, before moving to cars, competing in the 2006 Ginetta GT Junior series. He won three races and finished 3rd in the championship. In 2007 he progressed to single-seaters, racing in the British Formula BMW Championship for Carlin Motorsport. He achieved his first victory from his sixth start, at Thruxton, finishing 2nd in the Rookie Cup. By the end of the season, he joined the British Formula Renault 2.0, contesting the final two races and the 2008 Winter Series. He scored an outright win and three podium finishes from four races, being 2nd in the series. Henry Surtees was survived by his parents John and Jane, and sisters Edwina and Leonora. After his son's death, Surtees founded the "Henry Surtees Foundation" after him. Driven by John's inexhaustible energy and dedication, the Foundation's projects included work in education, air ambulances, transfusion service and medical training, also providing notably help for young people in motorsport. As part of the process, Surtees took over Buckmore Park, the karting circuit where Henry got his first taste of go-kart racing. R.I.P Henry Surtees.
