Hello world is a very simple computer program that simply displays that message to the screen. Traditionally, introductory computer programming lessons or tutorials begin by teaching how to write a hello world app in a given language. While the amount of code it takes to write hello world in a given language is a fairly meaningless measure, I find it interesting to compare various popular (and not so popular) languages, and see how much work they require for this most trivial applications. Languages shown in the video: 1. Ada 2. haskell 3. Perl 5 4. BASH 5. ActionScript 3.0 6. C 7. C 8. D 9. BASIC 10. Python 11. Dart 12. PHP 13. Hack 14. Delphi 15. Haxe 16. C# 17. Java 18. Object-C 19. In this video, you will build your first quantum circuit and learn how to create entanglement between 2 qubits. *The IBM Quantum backend ibmq_16_melbournehas been retired. In order to see the quantum backends you have access to, use the provider.backends() command. For example, for the Open provider from qiskit import IBMQ IBMQ.load_account() provider = IBMQ.get_provider(hub='ibm-q', group='open', project='main') provider.backends() shows a list of available backends. For example, replacing the line in the video with qcomp = provider.get_backend('ibmq_santiago') will fix this issue. *As of Qiskit 0.18.0, the initial states are not drawn by default when you draw the circuit. If you are running this version or later, your circuits might look a little different to Abe’s but this is nothing to worry about! If you would like to see the circuits look the same as Abe’s, you need to include initial_state=True into the calls to circuit.draw(), so they become circuit.draw(initial_state=True). You can see about how this was done on the pull request here 🤍 Your formal invite to weekly Qiskit videos ► 🤍 Getting Started – 🤍 Need help? – 🤍 Helpful Links: Code used – 🤍

See the Art of Code as Dave crafts a new Windows Hello program from scratch in the editor with no assists. Dave writes clean code in pure C for your enjoyment. A great source of coding style as a tutorial for Windows Programming. What Dave develops here is effectively a hybrid of the MSDN sample for "Hello, World" and Charles Petzold's version of rendering the client area. Coming Soon: Hello, Assembly! where Dave codes Hello World in pure ASM for Windows. Errata: At about 9:10 I make reference to the WndProc, when I really mean WinMain. - You may have noticed I typo’d the WinMain signature as HRESULT, rather than LRESULT. Good eye, and of course I fixed this before running it! - TranslateMessage(%msg) was clearly supposed to be TranslateMessage(&msg), sorry! - As trivia, under Win16, WPARAMs were WORDs and LPARAMs were LONGs. Today, they’re both 32 bits. Here's the code that compiles in the episode without any warnings. Remember this is just the C, you'd still need resources, icons, etc. Best bet honestly is to generate an empty Win32 project with VC, which provides you with sample code quite close to this (but it doesn't paint). 🤍
In this tutorial post we will be running our first JavaScript program which is a basic Hello World program where we ill simple print Hello World(or any other text) on the browser. The 2 softwares needed to start of with JavaScript are - Text Editor : I will be using Visual Studio Code Text Editor which is highly recommended by many specially for Javascript, however you can use any other text editor like Notepad or Sublime text etc. Browser : Of course a browser is needed to load the HTML document and run the JavaScript so I will be using Google Chrome browser. You can use any browser of your choice as most modern browsers have JavaScript enabled by default. There are 2 ways to include JavaScript in your HTML Document - Embedding JavaScript in the same HTML document Using External JavaScript file and linking it in your HTML document. 1. Embedding JS in HTML document - As you can see in the code below, we are embedding JS code using the script tag of HTML. Usually when the JavaScript code is small it is directly embedded in the HTML document, however, it is not recommended to embed large sized JS code directly in the HTML document as the code becomes un-organized. 2. External JavaScript File - As you can see below there are 2 file - one the actual HTML document and other a separate external javascript file (demo.js). This demo.js file is linked in the HTML document using the script tag with the use of the attribute src as shown in the code below. When the javascript code is large, it is highly recommended to use a separate external file to keep the HTML doc and the JS code organized.
