*I forgot to mention that you must also change your 'sequence frame rate' so that it matches your video's frame rate. If you do not do so, the playback/preview will be different (sped up or slowed down) even though your video's frame rate has been changed to your desired frame rate.* I bumped into this problem the other day and decided to share this fix with you guys who might be struggling. Like and share this with people that might need this :)

This shows you how to fix the problem where DaVinci Resolve groups your sequenced images into a frame by frame video clip ( jump to the solution click 2:13 ), instead of treating each image separately when you import it or bring it into the software. When you import images that are named sequentially such as image-001.jpg, image-002.jpg, image-003.jpg, etc, DaVinci Resolve will by default think you have a set of stop motion images and then groups these images together to form a frame by frame video clip with each image occupying only 1/29th of a second if your selected frame rates for the video is 29 frames per second. So your 29 vacation photos will take only 1 second to show. That's pretty unfortunate because most cameras name the photos you take sequentially and you will constantly have this problem with DaVinci Resolve. But there's an easy fix and this video shows you how. Davinci Resolve Image Sequence Issue - FIXED Hey! Let me know if this fix works out? You can use this method for your time-lapses, frame-by-frame animations, and such. If you DON'T want to import your selected images as a sequence then simply tell Resolve to import them as individual frames, or leave it as auto. I'm not sure what the solution to thsi problem may be. When I want to save a rendered sequence from MPlay, it produces one single file and not the sequence. Wondering what I may be doing wrong? I have included a short screen recording to better demonstrate my problem. Thanks
Please check out this discussion about the Image Sequence before or after watching this tutorial: 🤍 If you map a photograph to a 3D surface, it's called a "file texture". If you map a series of photos to that surface, it's called an "image sequence". In other words: The surface displays a movie when you run the animation. So far, so good. However, there are catches and problems concerning the file format and file naming. Let's talk this out. To make a video clip from images, on your project right click and click import. Then select the first image on your image sequence. e.g. Image_000, Image_001, Image_002. Check the image sequence box and click okay. Your image sequence is now a video clip. If your video clip's frame rate doesn't look right, right-click on the video file you just created and then click Modify then Interpret footage. This tutorial is on how to solve a common JPEG and image import issue in After Effects. If you have a JPEG, TIF, PNG, or PSD that you imported into After Effects and it’s only a handful of frames long, you probably accidentally imported an image sequence instead of just the one image file. So when you import (Command + i if you’re on a Mac / Control + i if you’re on a Windows computer) and select the file to import you need to first check the file name. If there’s a number at the end of it, example: image01.jpg, and there’s also an image02.jpg then you need to uncheck the ImporterJPEG Sequence option in the Import window. PNGs, TIFs, and PSDs will have something else instead of “ImporterJPEG”. Then import the file. It should be what you expect now. In Part 1 of our inductive reasoning tutorial, our expert test developer talks through how to answer a typical inductive reasoning test. Inductive reasoning tests are one type of psychometric test frequently used in selecting applicants for job roles such as engineering and IT.
